Terms of Service
Please read these terms carefully before using DesktopClaw. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using DesktopClaw ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time, and continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.
Effective Date: February 10, 2026
2. Account Registration
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use DesktopClaw.
3. Service Description
DesktopClaw is a managed platform that enables users to deploy and host AI agents (such as Clawdbot / OpenClaw) to messaging channels including Telegram, Discord, WhatsApp, and Lark. We provide infrastructure, deployment automation, channel integration, and usage monitoring through a web dashboard.
4. Pricing & Billing
DesktopClaw offers multiple subscription plans (Trial, Starter, Pro, Business). Each plan includes a monthly allocation of AI model credits measured in token usage.
If you exceed your plan's included credits, overage charges apply at the rate specified for your plan (e.g., 1.2x for Pro). Overages are billed at the end of each billing cycle.
Plan upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period. All payments are processed through Stripe. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use DesktopClaw or any deployed AI agents for:
- Illegal activities or any actions that violate applicable laws
- Harassment, spam, phishing, or any form of abuse
- Generating harmful, misleading, or deceptive content
- Attempting to circumvent platform rate limits or security measures
- Violating the terms of any connected AI model provider
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines without prior notice.
6. BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) Disclaimer
Pro and Business plans allow you to use your own API keys from AI model providers. When using BYOK, you are responsible for compliance with the provider's terms and for any charges incurred directly with the provider. DesktopClaw encrypts your API keys using AES-256-GCM but is not liable for any misuse or unauthorized access resulting from key compromise outside our platform.
7. Service Availability
We target 99.9% uptime for the DesktopClaw platform. However, this is a target and not a guarantee. Downtime may occur due to maintenance, infrastructure provider outages, or unforeseen circumstances. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned maintenance in advance.
8. Intellectual Property
The DesktopClaw platform, including its design, branding, and proprietary code, is owned by DesktopClaw. You retain ownership of your agent configurations, system prompts, and any content generated through your use of the platform. We do not claim ownership over content produced by AI agents deployed through our service.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DesktopClaw shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to DesktopClaw in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via email or through a notice on our platform. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
